Family-owned in Jeddah

A small team, a wide horizon.

Safari Way is a family-run operation showing visitors the Saudi desert the way we grew up with it. Our drivers know each ridge, our cooks set the fire pit before guests arrive, and our camels are part of the family.

We work with small groups, licensed guides, and a fleet kept clean. Pickup from your hotel, paperwork done before you ask, and a route that respects the desert and the people in it.

Questions

Things people usually ask.

What is the recommended attire?

Comfortable, modest clothing that protects against sun and sand. Closed shoes. Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. A light jacket for overnight or winter tours.

Is desert safari safe?

Yes. We work with licensed guides, run a safety briefing before any activity, and provide all the proper gear. Safety instructions are given before dune bashing.

How long does a safari last?

Most tours run 4 — 6 hours. We also offer half-day, full-day, and overnight options.

Is food provided?

Refreshments — Arabic coffee, tea, dates, water, soft drinks — are included on all tours. Full meals (BBQ dinner, breakfast) are included on the Evening, Overnight, Private Dune Dinner, and Makkah safaris.

Are there health restrictions?

Guests with heart conditions, respiratory issues, pregnancy, or serious back or spinal problems should avoid dune bashing. The dry desert climate also poses dehydration and heatstroke risks — drink water throughout.

Can tours be customised?

Yes. Activities can be added or removed, and we can build a custom itinerary from scratch. Send us a WhatsApp with what you have in mind.

Is experience required?

No. All tours are beginner-friendly. Our guides give all the necessary instruction before each activity.

What activities are available?

Dune bashing, camel riding, quad biking, sandboarding, sand skiing, horse riding, photoshoots, stargazing, and more. See the activities section above.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refund if cancelled 4 days before the tour (a small processing fee applies). No refund for no-shows.

Ready when you are

The desert is patient.

You send a message. We do the rest.
